We are committed to ethical and sustainable business practices, which is why all of our own label, Diane Burkhardt, garments are hand crafted locally by our hand-picked team. Every single garment is devotedly made in Auckland by one of our committed long term sewers, who are highly valued and proud to be part of our committed team. We utilise only top quality, lasting fabrics to provide you with stunning, authentic garments that are sustainable and stand the test of time.

BESPOKE TAILORING & CUSTOM MADE DESIGN
Ensuring the perfect fit for our customers is important to us. We understand that everyone is unique, so we offer a bespoke tailoring service in any of our exclusive designs, with garments from the current and previous seasons able to be custom made to order in additional colours, fabrics and variations. Almost half of our garments are bespoke tailored and purpose fitted to our fashion clients. We also make to measure for all sizes, all at no extra charge.

PERSONAL STYLISTS & DESIGNER CONSULTATIONS
Driven by personal service, our experienced long term stylists work with our clients to ensure a perfect match and fit seven days a week. We will collaborate with you to create the perfect seasonal wardrobe, or outfit for every daywear, career wear, leisure wear, and something a bit special for special occasion and evening wear, including Mother of the Bride or Groom, all for no extra charge. Our designer, Diane Burkhardt is also available for one on one personal consultations from our on-site designer studio.

Our in house Diane Burkhardt designs are exclusive to The Cupboard, so you won’t find them anywhere else. Due to our boutique nature, all of our exclusive styles are limited edition, rather than mass produced.
